Sacred Ground

“He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God?” ~Micah 6:8
Are you ready to take a deeper dive into both understanding race and racism as well as learning what we as people of faith can do to promote racial healing and reconciliation? In small groups you’ll learn more about the history of race in America, share stories and experiences of race, and learn how to grow in your commitment to racial justice.
Sacred Ground is part of Becoming Beloved Community, The Episcopal Church’s long- standing commitment to racial healing, reconciliation, and justice. The 10-part series is built around a powerful online curriculum with resources including documentary films, articles, and book excerpts. Meetings last 2 hours and conducted via ZOOM twice a month.
All 3 sections are currently full. Contact Laurie Rotella, oppylm@gmail.com if interested in future classes.
