The Rev. Cathy Zappa
Interim Rector
I am an Atlanta native who considers the low country, particularly around Savannah, a second home. In ministry, I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to serve in various settings, including a women’s prison, which was particularly formative for me. After a decade as a canon at the Cathedral of St. Philip in Atlanta, I followed my interest in intentional interim ministry to Christ Church Episcopal, Savannah, where I served as Interim Rector during a significant transition.
The Rev. Eric Bash
Associate
Eric comes to us from St. John’s Episcopal Church on John’s Island, SC, where he served as the curate. Eric graduated from the School of Theology at the University of the South in 2024. Before he became a priest, he had many different life experiences, including singing opera and serving in the US Navy.
Blake Robinson
Chaplain
Along with the clergy, Chaplain Blake Robinson visits parishioners in local hospitals and is “on call” for pastoral care emergencies. In addition, he serves on the Pastoral Care Team, visiting with parishioners in their homes. He is also a Eucharistic Visitor.
Blake took a year of chaplain training (Clinical Pastoral Education) at Greenwich (CT) Hospital in 2006-2007 and then started a lay chaplain ministry at his church in Connecticut, serving in that capacity for ten years.
