The Cornerstone Campaign

The Cornerstone Campaign is an ambitious vision for the life and ministry of our parish. It is a vision which is asking members of our parish to give sacrificially and intentionally for the mission of Jesus Christ within and well beyond the parish campus.

The specifics of this vision will be articulated and shared with the parish family, beyond the broad vision already before you, during the upcoming weeks. To do this, the campaign needs your help and the help of many in the parish. Through direct involvement, every member of All Saints will be given numerous , opportunities to take hold of the vision.

The stewardship program is really two programs running concurrently: our stewardship of our yearly budget for the life of the parish and
The Cornerstone Campaign that addresses the extraordinary challenges placed before us by the Holy Spirit Those challenges have included, but are not confined to, our debt, opportunities for additional staff, and mission and ministry in our community as well as internationally.  To continue to fulfill the mission and ministry of Jesus Christ, we are being called to a sacrificial faith that extends beyond the comfortable places of our hearts.  God is always moving us deeper and forward, always asking us to trust that He will provide the will within us along with the means to accomplish that vision placed in the midst of us.

I ask you to be open to new opportunities to serve. All Saints has a strong history of being open to the call of God. Please consider volunteering, not so much for a campaign as much as what that campaign and combined effort will offer for the future ministry and mission of this parish. Within weeks. you will be contacted by a member of the Campaign Leadership Team. In preparation for those contacts, I encourage you to continue your prayers for this parish and to include
The Cornerstone Campaign in those prayers.

In the privacy of your prayer life may you ask God to guide you as to your place in this important endeavor.  In the silence of listening, I hope you may hear a small, imperceptible voice speaking to you. God's first language, after all, is silence. Imagine an entire parish open to the will of God, God's urgings, and the power of the Holy Spirit doing infinitely more than we can ever imagine.

We are not doing this alone; with the wisdom and power of God at every side, and the gift of the Holy Spirit guiding our every move, all we are asked is to have faith.

In the rich tradition of this parish, I invite you to give from your heart...a heart that has been influenced by your faith in Jesus Christ.
