Floral Art Auction, part of this year’s Garden Tour activities, will take place in the parish hall from Saturday May 2 through the day of the Garden Tour, May 16. Sealed bids will be accepted on Dee Johnson’s original watercolor, ‘Poppies,’ the winner of this year’s poster competition. The minimum bid on ‘Poppies’ is $125.00. Place a paper with your name, address, phone number and your bid for ‘Poppies’ in the bid box near her painting. All other art in the silent auction will have bid sheets posted near them. Come browse and enjoy the lovely display of original art—all by talented local artists. Opening bids are very low so do place a bid on your favorite. If there’s a piece you must have and don’t want to chance being outbid, you can purchase it for the ‘Gotta Have It Now’ price. Call Lee Woodruff 681-8276 if you have any questions.

L’Chaim! TO LIFE! Easter-tide is filled with good news…including the fact that Lent’s somber focus on prayer, penitence, and self-denial is inevitable followed by a joy-filled focus on life, new life. Join us on May 6 for this month’s Wednesday Night at All Saints for a celebration of life, good food (at a great price, a little wine, some theology, and fun.) Bob Taylor will facilitate a discussion of what it means when Jesus tells us: "I came that they might have life, and might have it more abundantly." (John 10:10). A sign-up sheet is posted on the parish hall bulletin board. Cost is only $7.00! Deadline to sign up for dinner is Tuesday the 5th. Everyone is encouraged to sign up, even if you are coming just for the program, so that seating is available for all.
