 About our Logo

The Cross represents Christ and our service to Him in the world. The Circle stands for our hope for wholeness in our lives. The out flowing lines from the center depict the many works of the Episcopal Church Women, going out into the world. The intertwined lines represent our lives centered in Christ.

Episcopal Church Women's Prayer

Almighty God, we pray that you will bless our work in mission and ministry in the world.  Make us so thankful for the power of your love, given through your son, Jesus that we may pray, labor and give liberally to make known that love throughout the world. Bless us that our lives may shine forth the joy and wonder we share in your name.    Amen

 Who We Are

We are Episcopal Church Women of all ages, ethnic origins and socioeconomic backgrounds who hold a variety of views. However, the common denominator of our members is love of God and the wish to do His work.

Mission

Centered in congregations, the Episcopal Church Women (ECW) empowers women to do Christ's ministry in the world.

Vision

Our vision for all women of the Episcopal Church is that we become a vibrant blend of all ages, coming together as a peacemaking, healing part of the Church. We aspire to be a Godspark-shining and sharing the love of Christ.

How We Operate

The life of Episcopal Church Women begins in the local congregation, continues at the diocesan, provincial and national levels. Each has its own unique characteristics which enable the mission and ministry of women. Episcopal Church Women are an integral part of the Episcopal Church USA which consists of nine provinces and is a part of the world wide Anglican Communion.

Our Outreach

United Thank Offering Program (UTO)

United Thank Offering Mission - To address compelling human need and expand the mission and ministry of the church. It is at the heart of the stewardship of baptism: united in one faith, thankful for God's presence in our lives, we offer ourselves.

Citizens Opposed to Domestic Abuse  (CODA)

Coda is far more than a shelter.  It also offers legal assistance, adult counseling, children’s counseling, and case management services to families on both an in-house and outreach basis.

Room at the Inn

Room at the Inn is a unique, comprehensive program helping homeless, single, pregnant women, not only during their pregnancies but also after the birth of their babies. By providing shelter, food, clothing, case management, in-house daycare, transportation, life skills education, and counseling in a structured environment, they help these families have new lives of healthy, hope-filled self sufficiency.

Care Committee

Being available at the time of need is goal of the care committee, whether it be to assist by preparing meals or arranging, staffing and providing food for a funeral or memorial service.  Please contact parish office to assist in this loving opportunity to care.

Supper Clubs

Supper clubs are an excellent way of getting to know fellow parishioners in our church. The clubs were started in 1998 and have been very successful. Members who are interested in participating sign up in the fall and attend a dinner in January at the Church. During this kick-off dinner, individuals and couples meet with their newly designated group of ten to twelve and schedule their first monthly dinner gathering. Thereafter, the individual clubs meet at the convenience of the majority of club members, the group members rotating as hosts. Supper Clubs are not limited to weekends, and many clubs meet during the week. Contact Liz Hall, 715-0307 for current information.

JULIETs

Joy, Understanding, Love - In Eating Together.  Parish women meet for breakfast on the third Monday of each month at a "mutually inconvenient" place - recently the Pancake House at the Bridge Center, across from Moss Creek.  No agenda.  Just getting together.

Needlework Guild

The talents of this group are manifest in the beautiful and renowned alter kneelers at All Saints.  The work isn't stopping there, as volunteers are always needed for an ongoing project -- producing kneelers for the pews.  Please contact parish office for more information.

Kitchen Coordinator

Susan Krohn is responsible for ensuring that the kitchen is adequately stocked to support the many activities of the church.  She instructs the volunteers in the use of equipment and makes the setting one of camaraderie and fun for the myriad of other volunteers organizing and preparing food (and cleaning up!) for church activities.

Coffee Hour

Coffee hour is held in the Parish Hall following the 10:15 a.m. Sunday morning worship. The congregation, guests, and newcomers are invited to have a cup of coffee, light fare, and to socialize. Ann Winters chairs the Coffee Hour Guild and may be contacted at 363-5764 if anyone is interested in hosting a coffee hour.
