Listen to a sermon.

The Reverend Richard Carroll Lindsey

Richard “Rick" Lindsey received a B.S. degree in Early American History from Towson State College in Towson, Maryland, in 1972, and a Master of Divinity Degree from the Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1976, with special emphasis in pastoral theology.

The core of Rick's parish ministry and his approach to parish ministry is undoubtedly pastoral care, which lends depth and credibility to all other aspects of parish life.

Rick and his wife Jane have two beautiful daughters, Amanda and Rebekah. Each resides in Florida; Amanda lives in the Tampa area and Rebekah is attending the University of North Florida in Ponte Vedra.

Jane has a Masters degree in Nursing, and has specialized over the last thirty-two years in the field of psychiatric nursing.

Associate

The Reverend Mark Brinkmann

Listen to a sermon.

Mark Brinkmann received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Iowa in 1980 and a Master of Divinity from Seabury-Western Theological Seminary in 1985. New to the staff in 2007, he has previously served in the Dioceses of Los Angeles, Spokane and Utah.

Having grown up a United Methodist, he was drawn to the worship of the Episcopal Church.  In his presiding, preaching and planning, he continues to delight in helping others experience our lavish corporate spirituality. He also believes that as Christianity is a religion of a person, Jesus Christ, so too is the Church its people, rather than the buildings or a set of programs.  A common thread running throughout his ministry has been a commitment to encouraging and supporting the ministry of others and assisting them in exploring and reflecting upon their faith.

Mark is married to Kendell, a Registered Nurse, who has been working as the Clinical Director for a large oncology practice.  They have been blessed with three wonderful sons.  Thom is a chef in the Navy; he and his wife and daughter are stationed near Seattle.  Jim is a student at the University of Utah and is a performance major in music.  Dan is an eighth grader who loves sports and is quite a good bowler.

Deacon

The Reverend Sandra Grant

Listen to a sermon.

Sandra "Sandy" Grant received a B.A. degree in Romance Languages and Literatures from Harvard University in 1965, a Ph.D. in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Connecticut in 1971, and an M.B.A. from Yale University in 1984.

Sandy taught Spanish at Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, Connecticut, for thirty-one years, where she met and married her husband, Kerry, a professor of mathematics.  They retired and moved to Hilton Head Island in 2001, where Sandy has been involved in a variety of programs teaching English to Latinos and Spanish to English-speakers.  In 2005, she was ordained to the diaconate, and she has expanded her ministry to the Latino community in addition to her service at All Saints.
